Thread: Help noob with PC to HDTV

    Im actually looking to buy a new laptop and although i know a bit about computers, i just feel lost when i start researching HDTVs. I have an HDTV with HDMI and PC ports but from their i wouldnt know where to go for the right cables or video card. If anybody knows a good place to start reading up on this id really appreciate it.

    well dude it's not that complicated, If the laptop has a HDMI port than you get an HDMI plug as if you are setting up a second monitor. BTW make sure you order the cabels or you will pay through the nose at most in store retailers. Also what model numbers of HDTV and Laptop are you speaking about the more info you give the more people here can help you, Good luck bro
