if you have even a decent speed you will be able to easily maintain a good ratio in tl. and if you have a kick azz speed such as i do you can maintain an insane ratio. i am in sct as well. i prefer tl. pre times, speed plenty of leechers to upload to. in short, the answer to your question is YES!

thats the internet rumor but i know of no one who has received a letter because they were in tl. use peerguardian. you will be fine.

and their membership is more like 100,000not 500,000

These are not internet rumors, but the story told by a member of another tracker of his personal experience, with letters posted as proof.

I'd prefer to use smaller sites than rely on IP blockers that are easily available to the adaptive anitpiracy measures that are surely not being defeated by some users installing PG on their client. if you think that's security.

TL is a great site to maintain a good 1:1 ratio and has great quality shows/movies. Good pre-times, but remember its mainly scene so don't expect that much rarity. I think a lot of people base their opinion on that. That's why as Wu-Tang once put it " you need to diversify your portfolio"...

TL had a lot of rarity back in ends of 2005/2006. I say that because I have very ecclectic DVD's in my collection that are even out of print now, and I got them all from TL.

Things like Sleuth (the original movie), M (the 1920 flick), and so forth.

TL even had a DVD of the original Metropolis movie, made by EMERALD, that was a movie re-encode (not the usual DVD RB job, I'm talking about actually re-making the flick, I can't explain it technically since I'm not a movie genius like those guys) made by them. A trule rare gem.

Soo, TL has it all. Honestly it is a very good quality BT site.
