Help!question About My Os

hey i jus bought a dvd burner on the minumum system requirements for os is win2000 or higher now i am runnin 98se so could i still use my dvd burner without changin my os? thanx in advance

i would just install it and see what happens, goto manufacturers site and see if they got a 9x driver or roxio easycd 6 or nero6 should be able to access the drive anyway

I would say go onto their support site and check it out what they say about it. If they say Win2000 min then it must be minimum. Why are you using 98 still? You have a DVD Burner and still running win 98? Get winxp pal!

Download WINXP PRO UPGRADE off kazaa and you can simply upgrade your OS without deleting/formating your harddrive.
Make a backup of your important files, just in case.
