    Giganews + Newsleecher & SuperSearch (offer) is pretty much is all you need. I used to use alt.binz/newsbin but once you use supersearch with newsleecher it makes things much easier.

    check this out for RSS newsgroup feeds
    I've only just started using them my self in the past week or so
    but im pretty impressed I cant see my self bothering to D/L headers anymore.
    RSS feeds are only updated every 30 minutes or so, there is no use in setting your update frequency below that.
    as you can see I've added RSS to my firefox! so you don't even need a usernet newsreader program any more, you can use your web-browser.

    I've only used newsbin pro. Is newsleecher or grabit better?

    QuickPar is really useful if you're not using the built-in GrabIt repair software...
