When I was 15 many many years ago(1954), I was a member of a mining first aid
team in Scotland. At that time mouth mouth was not a common method of resuscitation and was only recommended for use on babies. So my theory is that if this was in print 50 years ago then it was in use a long while before that. When did this person you are talking of die?

He's name was Peter Safar , born in Vienna , Austria , he was 79 years old. In 1959 he became a US citizen. He mmm oh yeah he died on Sunday. And @3rd gen noob , Yeah I read this in a local/independent newspaper , a local/independent MEXICAN newspaper.... so yeah sorta slow.
