The Ps2 sux it has outdated hardware and the games on it cannot be further expanded for like new technologies and such. The xbox is further being exploited and and the power of the xbox is starting to show an example would be Fable which will be the best RPG ever created period. Nothing can compare and the xbox does not lack good rpg's. The xbox has Fable, Sudeki, KOTOR, and other great ones. Also the xbox has online racing games and since it is broadband no lag will **** up the races too. Who was the n00b who said the xbox only has Halo your just a fu*king ps2 ignorant fanboy. And also your precious grand theft auto isn't going to be exclusive anymore once the contract ends between Rockstar and Sony it coming multi platform. The ps2 is ridiculous for online because you have to buy network adapter and hardrive for some of the new games like FF11. Xbox has all the shit integrated. I think Sony is realizing all there dumbass mistakes and rushing to fix them for the growing population of online console gamers. Come on 8mb memory cards LMFAO. Also coming up xbox will now have xbox music thing and u can connect to pc and transfer .mp3 right over and you will be able to use xbox as a karaoke machine too.

And if you have a modchip, you can still play online, unlike XBOX. And ever since the Xbox came out, you have been able to load music onto it, and use it in games.

Uh last I checked you can play games online on the Xbox for free using XBConnect and X Link Kai (WITH A MODCHIP EVEN). And Xbox is more powerful and should be getting some PS2 exclusive games like GTA and MGS: 3 reall soon. Conclusion: Xbox pwns ur PS2 playin ass.

the reason you pay for Xbox online is the servers are much better than shitty PS2 ones. Xbox owners get free downloads of new levels, extra content and such. PS2 owners get frequent disconnections from there servers and shitty lag (I use to go round a mates and play THPS4 so i know. Xbox is a far more powerfull system. The only console to be able to handle such games as Doom 3, far Cry Instints and Half Life 2.....PS2 can handle GTA SA. And i thought GTA SA had some terrible graphics. I watched the opening movie and close up on thier faces you could see the jagged edges and no finger tips and everything.

Ohhhhhhhhh wow PS3 has an inbuilt hdd, hmmmmmmmmmmm i wonder who thought of that first , stop trying to talkshit about two consoles you know little to nothing about (PS3, Xbox2) and stop trying to sidestep around the issue.

But the thing about Xbox is most of its games....came from PS2....I'll give you the Halos, etc, but games like GTA,MGS,etc came from PS2, and they were originally developed for the PS2 system.
Next. the PS2 has a DVD player built in, and u dont have to shell out 30 bucks just to watch a stupid DVD, for Xbox u do.
Sure graphics are a key part to any system,but there are many other aspects to it.

Some things of note:

Xbox Live has way better servers than PS2's individually developed game servers. It's worth the money.
XBConnect mimics the system link for the internet...another plus.

Portability is not an issue with either console but for "space" concerns it's a different matter. I like the new PS2 if I have limited space in my luggage or for the truck. Otherwise they both fit in my backpack just fine.

The XBox is bigger because of the hard drive. Period. I rather have it than to a be able to say it's er uh...smaller than the PS2.

If some of the Xbox games are the same as the PS2...guess which console has the best version in almost every case.

PS2 is good for the games that I can't get on the Xbox. I love Ratchet and Clank.
