xbox is the best out of all three. gc is just out of the discussion all together, and ps2, well, good and sometimes awsome games, but a lot of the good ones come out to computer, which is much better than ps2. and xbox is rated the best graphics out of all 3. so i would still say xbox, if u want to buy a game system. i'm happy with a good computer

just a few points about the xbox and ps2....

well to get started, ps2 rocks and xbox sucks....c, it even sounds right

but i have a few things for and againts each system

-xbox-

the good
NOTHING, maybe some games have good graphics but that it

the bad
basically a pc
came out in around 2001, which means it has the power of any pc then, a P3
this is microsofts first system and had no previous experience
has many glitches
controlls suck!!!!
and same for the controller

-ps2-

the good
great games as previously mentioned
exellent controlls
great graphics
awesome controls and controller
all know glitches from the first playstation were worked out
previous experience with systems

the bad
unfourtanty some developers tend to focus on gameplay most the time and forget about the graphics but not often

and the bad for both-cds scratch very easily and get destroyed AND ALL GAMES ARE MAJORLY OVERPRICED!!!!!!!

add everything up, ps2 is the bomb and xbox, well id take a chuck it into the ocean and then dive for it 2 years later and the bury it on the bottom of the sea in the magma so it burns in hell!!

Another point that I don't see when people compare the two (x-box and ps2) too a gaming pc is you can get a x-box or ps2 for $180- $300 (depending on country and deals) and a decent gaming computer that won't glich,studder,or crash would be around $1000 (now give or take on that too). Also it keeps coming up about buying games at $50 a game for consols, well get a chipped consol and the price is exactly the same as a pc game, The cost of a cd-r. Anyway I'm not getting into the points that have been disscused, PS2 ROCKS! :beerchug:

X box is great just needs better games but hey Doom III Half Life 2 and deus ex 2 are coming to X box, and you forgot to mention Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind , and Timesplitters 2! which both are my favorite games! There is no need for stupid console wars its what ever suits you best! I played both and I think they're both great!

Well there really is no point in fighting over which console is the better! Only reason you do it is to feel good about yourself not having spent your hard earned cash on some crap! You try to rationalize your buy.

Sometimes I wonder how old people here are, guess the average poster, in this thread atleast, is 12. I need to stop posting here hehe
