And this is the XP theme >>
The Classic themed desktop does not have any rounded toolbars or taskbars. That is only available in the "new" XP theme.
The New start menu style
The Classic start menu style

John Travolta says:
Look at the difference, n00b:
Windows XP-style Start Menu:
'Classic'-style Start Menu:
Do you see the light now?
Still looks like XP to me :x
And there's nothing classic about XP
Now this is classic >>
I prefer the XP style start menu.
Once you get used to its layout its alot nicer than the classic. I don't use XP themes though only classic themes. Then I get the new menu and don't feel like a teletubby when looking at it.
sure......... but my comp only has 192MB.............. now doin taht like u did would leave me....... wot? 3MB 2 work with?Originally posted by Lamsey@11 August 2003 - 20:24
Classic one is far better for me, as it allows you to be more organised about things. For easy access to your programs, put an auto-hiding toolbar at the side of your screen:
na, just gimme the 98 look.............. i have a quicklaunch bar wit al my progs on there, and i put it on the left of the screen and set it 2 sink away so it wun bother me unless i need it............. 2 bad it wun auto apear when i move my mouse 2 the left like in 98.................
great FTP site for awesome quality video clips
yeah, you have to sign up, but its worth it
well i like classic style (the button and taskbar), but the xp menu cuz its organized... so i choose classic view but new menu
DWk
I prefer to have no start menu, but that's probably just the extremely classic me talking. I use quick launchers, and a classic start menu, which is the closest I can get to making it vanish.
It will if you set the toolbar to 'auto-hide' and 'always on top'Originally posted by Storm@12 August 2003 - 02:34
