Terrible speeds (2 mbits down, 512 kbits down), high cost ($40/month), and sporadic downtime throughout the day has led me to despise Qwest. Customer service is no help. And they want to charge us $150 to sever the contract. I'm tired of their bullshit. There has to be some other way to break out of it.

    Thanks for (any) help.

Start recording your downtimes. Call every outage (I know, a pain in the ass). Make sure they record your outage every time. If theres enough of them, you should have no trouble telling them your not getting the quality of service they claimed to offer.
Or, they will get tired of you calling and fix it...
