These fights generally occur because some newbie asks what browser/OS/processor, etc. is better, and the other ppl start arguing. Personally, i think that...

1) XP Pro
2) NAV
3) NetCaptor
4) MSN or Trillian
5) AMD

I'd say it's your choice what you want... the only one i'm persisten on is the browser choice, (if you are a pirate, like most ppl here) you really have to be unknowledgeable not to use NetCaptor/Avant , etc browsers if you prefer IE. Seriously, NetCaptor takes less CPU time, about the same amount of system resources, has way more (not useless) option, etc. same with Avant. I totally don't understand why anyone would use the regular IE... other than that, it's about taste.

XP still sucks......... its buggy as hell....... linux is the best, but isnt userfriendly
as long as ppl find rite viruses, well need one of these
Opera offers more than IE, @ better speeds......... just doesnt work with hotmail (blame bill 4 that), netscape gave us all the internet, so be thankfull, this is like sayin i wish IBM never xsisted........ LoL
ICQ is the mother of em all, now AOL fucked it up, i personally dun like AIM........... DUH, its an AOL product , MSN is cool, i like my weed smokin smiley
AMD is like Intel, but cheaper, and it allowed u 2 update ezly the last years w/o havin 2 get a new board cause the soccet had changed, AGAIN

overall its like the pepsi- coca-cola/Micky D-BK/US-USSR thingy.......... useless waste of time..............

if u wanna use AIM........ go ahead........... hell 4 all i care goto www.kazaa.com and dl KMD with all the spyware............. if it makes u happy....... just dun whine bout me usin MSN, ICQ and K-Lite.............
