Any progy for sharing files across the network?
for now i use windows to copy files across the network but that slows down my pc when something is being taken from me. for one my cordless mouse starts lagging every time a file is being transfered.

I use Teracopy Pro to handle my file transfers. It integrates nicely with Windows and can completely replace Explorer's copy and move functions. It lets you copy data faster and much more reliably (it can check md5 and sfv hashes) than Windows file transfer. It can pause and resume transfers, which is handy should you need to free up some resources during a large transfer. Also if there's an error while you're transferring multiple files, it'll retry several times and worst case just skips the problematic file, rather than terminating the entire transfer a la Windows.
