Thread: How Does It Get Behind Firewall?

  1. #1
while at a certain comp connected to a network behind an external firewall with individual comps IP's masked I am getting block accesses to my comp on the program "Peer Guardian" that are not being picked up by my free version "Zone Alarm" at high internet and high trusted settings.

Anyone have any idea how these particular companies hack behind the firewall and how legal can that be?

    Thanks

They don't 'hack' your firewall. It simply lets them through.

They are working as regular users on a filesharing network. They won't be blocked unless you set the firewall to entirely block that particular filesharing network OR if you block the specific IP ranges that they use (like PG does).
