    whats a good program to use to rip/copy music off a CD? cuz Win Media Sucks its turns all my files in wma and the quality and volume on those files are low.

    i use Nero 6.0 simply because it's so easy to use
    and with three mouse clicks the job is done.

    i use acid pro (music maker) and choose extract audio from pc. that way i have 2 great feature in one, music creattion and cd ripping.

    I use EAC and I have to say that It is my favorite using it wthe Lame as your encoder and setting it up as in the pinned topic in music world describes
    will give you the best possible mp3. Using a cofiguration file that many music
    loving audiophiles spent years tweaking to find the perfect settings for
    EAC and Lame to rip aCD and encode and mp3.

    But it's all subjective.........Unless your sharing your files on Ubernet I think most
    users will be perfectly happy with most of the popular programs for ripping
    just making sure you use Lame as the encoder,at least @192kbps or VBS(varible bit rate),you might want to stick with a constant bit rate instead of a varible bit rate
    for those you want to play there cd-r's on a variety of audio equipment.

    Keep in mind another good reason to use EAC is because I said so!
