Thread: Aol Broadband

  1. #1
    Hi There!

I have AOL broadband and I was wondering what would be the best settings to optimise Kazaa for better downloads.

    Any help appreciated!

    Have a great day!

Best way to optimize it is to open it up plant a b*mb in it send it back to AOHell. Then cancel your subscription to them. Then sign up with a differnt company (not EarthLink or Verison). There now you have speeds 50 times faster them AOHELL broadband. Oh yeah that and O where the * is.

So what would be a better option than aol as I am based in the uk?

Not that i'm biased but Pipex are pretty good, plus you can migrate for free

I dont know i am from the U.S.A. but i would say go with an unknown company that only serves your area there the best and the safest.

Also AOL sells and monitors evrything you do on your computer and clouds it up with spyware.

Is pipex then a better company than aol and what would be the benefits of switching?

When you connect to AOL you go through their PROXY server which could make it easier for them to see what you're doing online. Secondly if you want to be the server for an online game, you can forget that with AOL. Thirdly with PROXYs and online gaming unless the game is hosted by AOL your pings will go thru the roof!
    Compare UK ISPs here.
