It is a power station fire in New York.

Is it causing some of the performance problems we appear to be seeing the last couple of hours, maybe routers down because of the outages.

A lightning strike near Niagara Falls caused it. Although it is kind of amusing to watch Bush Jr. say "This was not a terrorist act." And now, somehow, it's gone from the power outage to the Homeland Security. Anyhow, it was all started by that evil bitch, Mother Nature.

things are quiet until hitler decides he'd like to invade russia
    so, he does
the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter
the germans are like "wtf, h4x"

I'm pretty sure that the lightning strike was caused by fanatical Al Qaeda members on holiday in North Korea constantly rubbing balloons against their woolly jumpers.

Therefore this completely justified an all out invasion of North Korea...

...and Iran, just for the hell of it.

I wouldn't be too shocked if something like that comes out of the White House.
