Ok, when I pres ctrl+alt+delete tp bring up the task manager and go to the processes tab, something is running called "System Idle Process" its taking up very litlle RAM(20kb) but its using about 70-80% of my CPU. So what i would like to know is, What is the System Idle Process, and what is it doing that takes up so much of my CPU???

-Im running Windows XP pro SP1
    on Dell Inspiron 4150 Laptop
    P4(mobile) 1.8ghz and 512 RAM.
