Both my desktops are on 24/7 only down for updates or upgrades. I just like the sound!!

24/7 unless I have to restart after installing a program or updating something and i dont care how much my electricity bill goes up

I turn mine off at night, cos I can't stand the noise and I want my hardware to last.

I just put them to sleep if I don't need them, restart only if I have to because of updates. (Macs)

Mine is always on, always downloading or uploading something. I only restart once a week and turn it off when I need to install hardware.

I turn off my computer several times a day. Always when I don't use it, it's probably shut down.

I do this to lower my electric bill.
