is it acceptable to share a seedbox with a person who is also member of TL so that both people are uploading technically from the same IP ? Are there any penalties for that?

Put it in your profile that you are sharing a seedbox and put the name of the person you are sharing it with. If you are really paranoid you can go to the TL irc help channel and ask the people in charge directly

just warn the staff beforehand so you don't get flagged.
i did it several times (and even do it nowadays) without any problem.

I never care about telling staff that I am sharing seedbox. I used to initially (about 2 years ago) but now I know that lots of people share seedboxes and the staff know that it is a shared seedbox if lots of people are seeding from same IP. Its when you browse two accounts from same IP that you get in trouble.

Yes , nowadays if tracker staff see multiple accounts from a single ip , they check if its a seedbox or not . no issues

Well it seems as though the question has been answered quite thoroughly.
Basically just tell the staff through PM or on IRC and you're good. Most sites don't mind as long as you're not doing anything really sinister.
