I am all for supporting ones community, but when it turns into a profit for the site owner then it has stopped being about the community.

And if none of us gave money to our ISP's we wouldn't have an internet connection (or at least a connection worth having), so that statement is ignorant on many levels.

quite frankly, i agree with that what.cd post like 100%

if i were a member of vortex, which thankfully i am not, chances are i would have said the same thing.

as for me, i never paid for p2p, nor for a pipe. All i pay for is ISP and if internet bandwidth could be torrented (like ebooks, docs, movies, appz etc) i would not pay for it either
