You can get still get 3d glasses pretty easily - I got one out of a box of Fruity Pebbles a couple months ago.

so you can actually experience the 3d effect on your normal CRT with the glasses ?

Don't have a CRT here, actually; however, it works for me on my LCD. Granted, it would probably be most effective on a big projection screen. Perhaps for a summer pool party?
