    Just finished The End of Mr Y by Scarlett Johnstone and have started A Tale Etched in Blood and Hard Black Pencil by Christopher Brookmyre.

    Both absolutely cracking. The latter is like revisiting one's childhood

    Jeff Noon is one of my all time favorite authors. I havent read that though. I have owned a minimum of 4 copies of Vurt though.


    Right now I'm reading Geek Love by Katherine something-or-other (cant be bothered to get the book)

    because it is a lot funnier (albeit in a scary way) 40 years on

    I think that particular Brookmyre is a peculiarly Scottish experience.
