http://www.centos.org/
same sources, just re-branded
there is no Red Hat 4 update 6 available for download on RedHat site,
and it has to be Red Hat ... software that we use doesnt support newer releases.
centos is 100% binary compatible with rhel... dunno what kind of probs you should have...
anyway:
http://www.google.it/search?q=RedHat...6.x86.DVD-XiSO
one of those pages have some direct links... dunno if they are real...
good luck hunting

As said, CentOS is taken from the Red Hat FTP servers.

This is the redhat source code for RHEL 4. I don't know what software your running, but CentOS 4 is the same as RHEL 4, the only difference is the trademark images are removed, and replaced with CentOS ones. You only buy support from Red Hat, not the software.
edit, i missed the update link for RHEL 4.

but if i want to buy support from red hat (and i do) i need to have red hat not cent os.
Is it true that if i want to update red hat (security patches etc.) i need to buy that support? Correct me if im wrong... yum doesnt work without support.
I found spanish site with download links hope that this is good 4.6 relase
thanx for help
If you buy support from red hat, you can use their update servers, plus all the other benefits of red hat support. - Well worth it for business's and mission critical systems.
If your going to buy support though, why are you looking for the updates ?

Red Hat 4 update 6 (4.6) is a stand-alone OS.
When they release the updates, they also make a new spin of the install disc.
If your trying to update a system via remote you need yum updates working.
