I recall good ol´Dave Courtney as being somewhat of a shady character.....to say the least, he was and is a twat, who indeed carried out violent acts.

hmmm yes and no
Dave courtney has killed 2 people
1)The first guy had just shot shot daves mate when he was stood beside him and dave was gonna get shot next (what would you do)
2)The second guy was gonna kill dave courtney and if you KNOW that someone is gonna kill you what would you do ? so he killed him first (i would have done the same if somebody was going to come round to my house and shoot me in front of my wife and children)

3)He was a nasty person ie when he was debt collecting (dont borrow if you cant pay it back &#33 and when he was a doorman (I have worked in nightclubs for years and i know what the doormen have to put up with)
