Sorry, my bad. Then we're agreed.

    Only if that's a euphemism.

I thought that was fairly obvious.

FFS you were talking about getting a vegetarian eat as much as you want home delivery. So don't start on me.

You're other points are well made. However why should women then be allowed to enter men's competitions. That seems a bit like eating your cake and having it. Maybe women wouldn't win, but they would be above at least some of the men. How is that fair on them. Particularly since lower down the field they more need the prize money just to live their life. That seems a bit unfair.
The reason this is becoming an issue at all is that women in lots of sports are now starting to come into qualifying range in the men's competition. It's tough if you don't like it, it just is. I'm not suggesting anyone give women an easier ride so that they can compete with men, I'm saying that if they fill an advanced criteria why should what's between their legs stop them? The same issue is coming to the fore regarding disabled athletes.

As to your concern about fairness for men, exactly the same happens in boxing. Boxers don't achieve a heavyweight title and then think 'right, what's next....I'll lose some weight and try for the middle weight title' do they?

You can't put a boxer in a wheelchair into the same ring as someone standing up FFS! The ref will be calling foul all the time.

    Yes, actually.

It's quite common, many boxers fight at different weights throughout their careers. Didn't Hatton just move back down a weight. Several Boxers have held world titles at various weights. I've just realised it's a rod but fuck it.

The only fair solution is to have Men's competitions, Women's competitions and any sex competitions.

I say again, how is it fair on the man who would have been 32nd to lose out on prize money. If he then can't enter a women's competition and make up the difference. However the woman who was above him can enter that same competition and win more. That's iniquitous.
