    Is it possible to change the language of an installed windows 98?

    No, you can only add language support for Internet Explorer.

    Isn't there a regional settings option in control panel and add on language support on the disk? You might have to download and upgrade language packs though.

    In win2k I know you can add several languages but not sure with win98

    from what i understood, he wants to change the operational system language, not install language packs so he can save/write/read other language documents.

    but for your happiness, YES, you can change the o.s. language. simply format the HD and install windows 98 in your native language.

    seriously, you can't.
