Nice. Thank you guys for the info. I will first try out Pan. I don't really want to install Wine, because I keep reading that for every app on Windows, there's a Linux equivalent.
But if I can't get used to Pan, or don't like it, then I"ll have to go with Wine to use Alt.Binz.

I have yet to take the time to learn about Pan's "scoring" rules. But I hear that if used properly you can filter out most junk that is out there..
I've come to enjoy Pan. It was my first client, and there is pretty good support for it. Have a look at their mailing lists.
