I occasionally get the same problem but I'm using NIS. Anyone gort any ideas how to sort that one out ?

not sure how to turn it off but it will be in with the ad blocking options im guessing- Allows you to stop animated GIFs, so you can concentrate on reading the information on the Web page and not be distracted by flashing images.![]()
you could also try turning NIS off and see if they start up again.
@4play: thanks for that, although I can't seem to find it. In any case, it is intermittent and doesn't happen too often, and I am usually in a rush when it does happen so I don't have chance to find out what is causing it. With it being intermittent, I doubt whether it is a setting that I can change, more likely a bug caused by some wierd combination of events. And in any case it seems to reset itself.
But I will try to make time to find a solution next time it occurs.
