forgot to answer the question :
what do you guys pay for your connection ?
I pay money !
10Mbit download speed/4Mbit up speed 12 €
No traffic limits at all?
Sweden is great, but I heard there are not many households really have 100/100 connection, despite the legends that all the Sweden is covered with 100mbps Internet.
I pay $65 for a so called "full unlim" tariff, which is actually limited to 40/40 mbps, but I'm pretty happy with it.
Business as usual. A lot of people is installing WiFi at home and do nothing to secure it.
I even know stories from rural areas of the country, where you have to pay $100 for a 128k connection, people used to gather under the windows of some official building to download stuff at 10mbps for free.

In Serbia we have problem with monopolThe only ISP which is allowed to have extrernal internet link is Serbian Telekom. So if you wanna be ISP in Serbia you MUST buy any type of Internet connection from Serbian Telekom, otherwise you will loose your licente to work. They dictate the prices:
This is the fastest connections available for regular users (companies can get just a little faster connections): Telekom ADSL: 1.5mbs/192kbs = almost 50EUR
We have another big cable provider Serbian Broadband (SBB) - but they also go through Serbian Telekom - which came up with the idea to sell you traffic inside their own network tooSo the fastest you can get with cable: 1024/512 internet + 1024/512 among local users = 60EUR
The good thing 'bout the cable connectio is that when you meet peer who is part of your network you start exchanging data within local connection, so you can get actually 2mbit/1mit
I am a mod at one private torrent tracker which allows access for SBB users only and we exchange files with local bandwidth. Exceptions are torrents seeded from seedboxes, where both bandwidths are joined, and "download team" downloads from other torrent trackers...
That situation is going to bother us probably for year or two cause Serbian Telekom is goverment company and the privatisation of it is planed next year, and then will get more ISPs with external links and better prices...
