Doesn't matter about good ratio or not, they have stated over the past couple of months that they were going to prune accounts for inactivity (regardless of ratio, class etc.). This is probably what happened to your account.

SCL is a struggling community. Imagine TL, with a tenth of the users. Not many uploaders. Forums aren't so active either. Only scene stuff is allowed to be uploaded (excet 'Archive' section, or whatever). So there's not any way for it to really grow, except to open signups, in my opinion, or give out loads of invites.
Like Wombat Stevens said, unless you're a committed uploader who wants to help the community grow, you won't really miss anything by being there. And that's the honest truth.
