Hey guys whats up, my first post on here while waiting my 30 days to trade invites....errr
Anyways, I remember a while ago I heard alot of talk about not upgrading Utorr to 1.7 because there were thoughts that the newer versions maybe had some extra malware or ways to track download? Is any of this true?
I still am using 1.61 with no problems, but I saw the other day that the older versions might have a flaw that could allow people to hack in.
So should I finally upgrade to 1.8 or stick with 1.61. BTW, im using XP.

All the sites I use allow 1.8, so I just decided to upgrade the other day. No problems at all, all stats moved over, and everything is green.
Do it!

Maybe you should try 1.7.7? I'm sticking with it. I plan on moving to uT 1.8 in a few months. Maybe next year.

Hmmm... to have the latest client with fixes or the older client that has known vulnerabilities... tough decision mate.

alright, well I guess the general population says to upgrade, I'll take a look at 1.8 and then go through the script and see if its what its hyped up to be.
Thanks
