Ok lets say i said, ok fine, i will create you an account because you lost your previous account.

and word got out, which lets be honest, it will, and a lot faster than you think.

I will be inundated by PMs, Emails, Forum posts by 9,000 members that lost their accounts.

I would like to Help you, you are one of the names that got deleted that i do remember in all honesty, and there is not many of those (even those that are still here) but my hands are tied im afraid.

BTW i am not blocking any PMs, the Forum is blocking you sending PMs, take it up with the staff from here, but that one is certianly not my fault.

PPS: I understand your pissed off, but hopefully you can understand why ive lost my temper in here a few times as well.

stoi, I understand your position, but at least tell some of the users who have referrals to go to the IRC waiting room to offer them.

"tell", I would have thought "ask" would be a better idea.

I don't know what a "referral" is, however if it's anything like an invite then surely people who have them will give them to people they know from the tracker (or indeed elsewhere). Why would they "offer" them.

What is a BCG referral worth now btw.

JPaul, thanks for the positive response, but that is what the topic of the waiting room channel on IRC says, that members will offer referrals in the channel.

Obviously they will, to people they know and trust. Via private messages one assumes. Not just openly - "Anyone want a referral".

So I go in, I see a bloke I know and I private message him and ask if he wants a referral. Seems like a good idea to me. Clears out the wastrels and collectors.

I don't want you to do anything. Anyone who wants to can offer you a referral. I think that's kind of the system isn't it. I don't imagine stoi will "tell" people who to give the referrals to.

It strikes me that he set the whole thing up so that regular users would remain as members. If you are one of them you'll be fine.
