    I feel your pain.
Nothing beats the excitement of watching water slowly drip over your PC's internals...

LOL, well for me It's the hassle of having to wait for a new one. Luckily it started dripping after about 4oz of water so it wasn't even like I had to drain the entire loop. They just sent me an email they are going to send a new one to me. I think my action photo of a water drop got em . So should I try and fix this one? Na, I wouldn't even risk it.

They're going to let you keep the faulty piece?
Sure, go ahead, see if you can fix it.

Been meaning to ask about this:

If so, are you ok with how it sounds?

I had to put a resistor on it to make it tolerable. Granted, my setup runs a bunch of large low-rev noctua fans, so it's fairly quiet to begin with, but yours is also quiet enough for the sound from one to be noticeable and annoying, what with the scythes and the wc, which should make it really silent otherwise.

I disagree. I'm fairly certain you can achieve an airflow pressure variance with case fans.

My old build was intended for that, and I think it worked. (Don't really have a barometer here or anything, so I can't check, though.)

But yeah, factoring in mesh doors and vents and stuff on most cases, and it's probably no difference.

Set up my current cooling trying for negative pressure too, before it hit me that, yeah, a whole side of the chassis is made of mesh

I haven't plugged it in yet so I don't know how loud it is. These are them. I do like it as silent as possible so please do tell what you did with said resistor to make it quieter, Thanks

It's just one of the ones that come with noctua fans. You get like two with every flx fan. You don't even have to do any soldering, cos all the wiring's done already, like this:

You can buy them separately wired like that, or, you could remove the mesh on the wiring I guess and solder one in (it's the green bit, the stripes on it is a colour coding telling you much resistance it provides). Just means a lower voltage being supplied to the fans so they rotate slower.

The dominator fans come with a standard connector as well, so you could put it on a fan controller (which uses potentiometers rather than just resistors, usually), so you can adjust the speed on the fly.
EDit: I should add that it can wear your fans out faster, according to some. Others say it increases life span

Hmmm, well I've never seen that before so I'll look into it. I was looking into watercooling the ram as well but it's kind of pricey. These look promising but I'd have to get new ram ( which I may be due for soon).

There are others out there as well so I'll be looking. If anything for now at least I have a sunbeam single fan controller I could use if I had to.
