    All they said was that a percentage of them did leak and that BP would replace them for me. I haven't gotten word from BP as of yet. Should i wait or go with different fittings??

    Do you have any idea it will take to get the replacements and what other fitting options do you have?

    PPCs said it would be a few weeks but Im dealing with BP now. Not many other options other than plastic ones and a few "crystal" but I dont like the look of em

    plastic looks kind of cheap too

    Oh wait I just saw Koolance has some 45 fittings but from what Iv'e read Koolence doesn't make the best quality stuff

    Koolance Fitting Single, Swiveling 45-Degree

    Koolance used to be reviled because they used a lot of aluminum (aluminum + copper + warm flowing water= galvanic corrosion) but my understanding is that all their newer stuff is nickel plated brass, which is just fine.
    Don't know how the flow rates compare though.

    well that's all gay then as if it's put a halt to it! Did they say that they leak straight away or that it's a gradual process and they eventually start leaking? cos i think you should just test them regardless, they might be fine.

    @Clocker How would I check something like flow rates??

    @AD
    They haven't given me any specifics at all. Im waiting to see what BP will say. Sure they may be fine but: a) It will drive me insane checking the rig every 30 seconds forever wondering if today will be the day they leak, Im nuts like that. or b) they could leak when I turn my back on them ruining my rig, neither of these options are acceptable to me one bit, so we are at a standstill until I hear more from them sorry man

    There may be info on flowrates for different fittings over at Xtreme.
