Ok cool. I do have a few more tedious questions if you happen to know.

I did see a D-Tek heatsink but do you think it will work with the swiftech block? Here is what it looks like.

Still from the looks of the back of it it may not be a fit for the 55nm card

    Yikes.

Honestly D., I think you're overcomplicating this...at the very least being premature.

Take the simplest solution and try it first, then adjust as necessary.
Complexity looks good in pics but the extra hardware and money doesn't always result in better performance- in fact, sometimes the opposite occurs.

You know how to monitor the temps, so get yourself a baseline and go from there.

Yeah I was leaning toward the regular copper sinks but I'm unsure that they will fit as there are two different sizes. Is there a set I could get? I cant seem to find one.

LOL, I know what you mean. Especially when I was modding if I had more than 3 tabs open to cross reference things it drove me nuts like.

So do you think I can put a heatsink on that thing in the front of the card that doesn't appear to be ram of mosfet?

OK so it's been a long journey but I finally got her done. I forgot to take the pics off the HTPC so I will do it tomorrow and here's where we are now.

    -Bertha
    Q9550 running at 3.2
    Gigabyte EP45 UD3R
    GTX 260
Gskill 1000 4Gb ( will install 8 but wanted to make sure she was stable first)
3 750GB Seagate drives 2 in RAID 0 (also soon to change)
    2X samsung DVD drives
    Corsair 620HX
    Win7 RC1

Now I feel like the temps are still a bit high but it's about 80 degrees here today and I haven't put the AC on yet so I know ambient is high to begin with. Here are a few various temp screens

I just feel like those temps are high and uneven. I'm going to pull of the CPU block and see if its mounted right first.

The water loop is like this: I'm cooling the CPU then the northbridge and the the Vid card (thanks to Clocker for the GPU block )then on to the rad the res then Pump. I did downsize a bit with a 2 fan rad instead of the 3 fan one I had so I could mount it on top of the case.I do happen to have a pic of this oddly

And some performance pics ones also

Now do you guys have any idea why my HDD score is so low? I have 2 750's in Raid 0 and I turned off the write back cache thing on all drives.

So what do you guys think? What can I do to improve the scores and/cool this bitch down?

Open the Intel Matrix Storage console.
    Under "View", check "Advanced Mode".
Right click on your raid volume and enable "Volume Write-Back Cache".
You may need to reboot, doesn't hurt, so do it anyway.

Now see what your score is.

    Edit:
Just wiped and reloaded a fresh Win7 RC1.
    Some comparison scores...

OS is on a RAID 0 array comprised of 2 x 250GB Seagates.
    CPU is running at 3.5GHz.
You have a much better vid card than I.
