Is it forbidden to have a torrent background?

I am trying usenet out now to see how it is now when there is a crazy law coming closer here in sweden. I might stick with it if i like it ^^ that's what i can promise

EDIT: When you are invited, do you have to pay a fee to newzbin every week?

I was a really happy user of newzbin some time ago, even had a paying membership. I would really like to get access again!
