I dont understand why you guys have to spend so much on hdds

the more hdds you have the more likely your hdds fail and lose all your data

if you have more than one you can keep backups (don't need to write to 30/40/50 cd-r's)

it's extremely unlikely two hdd's will fail at exactly the same time...

yeah you are right...

I have 2 80GB Maxtor 7200 rpm 2MB cache hdds

kinda overcooked the new 80GB hdd I just bought (for 2 weeks) dont know when it's gonna fail

...

and it's my backup drive too

...
