whys it now disabled, as far as i can remember its always been enabled on the board

Mod gzip is hardcoded in the httpd.conf file means if you enable it in the boards then you have a negative effect

Obviously it's disabled, but it is enabled . It's hardcoded in the Apache WebServer ... we don't need to enable this via PHP.

I got IPB set up on my PC, and I havent even got the net, and its enabled there. I like the enabled myslef, jsut stuck I supose. Maybe you should just do away with the info.. this...>[ Script Execution time: 0.1266 ] [ 13 queries used ] [ GZIP Disabled ]
