Hey guys I was wondering is it passable to run an News reader to download NZBs to my Linux server So I could seed them back as torrents ?

So you want this:
A file downlaods from usenet on your server and from there you use it for torrentrackers [as a torrent, for seeding etc etc]
It can be done, do you have remote access to your server?
If you do then the solution is simple and clear, if not then there is some work to set everything properly

Then simply install GrabIt and QuickPar point it to directory where you want your downloaded files, then just tell utorrent or whatever you use for seeding to get those files [from the same directory] and seed them
so just one folder that both appz use
of course if its a linux server then theres a usenet alternative application to grabIt, use google

Install Hellanzb, it is the very best for linux. Simply download an nzb and drop it in the nzb queue directory or download it to that directory and it takes care of the rest like par checking repairing and unrar if you want it to. There are also some nice web interfaces for it as well.
