I'm sure there are a lot of honest, good, users who did get disabled for this. But you got nobody to blame for this but your selves. Checking the home page of whatever tracking your visiting is not hard, and it only takes up a few seconds of your time. 23k users getting disabled for this is just pathetic. Stoi gave more than enough time for every member of the site to click on one link, and generate a word.

Ok, after finally getting IRC working on the linux distro I am using, I decided to hop unto bcg irc knowing well in hand that I may come across a hostile mod.

Let us just say it wasn't pretty but I guess he must have been bambarded all day

seanbee - I got pretty much the same treatment. Unfortunate, but it seems that bcg is heading down the lame path.

~sigh, but if anyone used BCG for nintendo/wii/nds torrents, drop me a PM an i'll invite you to NT - a much better site for nintendo stuff and a site that won't disable you for being an active member, keeping up a good rap and accidently missing a few announcements.

Was this announcement a forced msg or was it posted in the 'news' or 'forum' area? I log onto bcg at least once a week and have never seen anything about a key word...and yes, I was disabled as a result.

Anything that can get you banned deserves nothing less than a forced message at log on so all users are sure to see it. If it was declared in a forced msg, my bad..but I don't know how the hell I could miss it.

I don't do IRC so I guess I'll pm stoi..I'm sure he's gonna love getting 1,000,000 pms about this..lol.

Well, After I was waiting around the IRC waiting room for a while. A nice mod comes up and helped the more patient people getting their accounts re-enabled.

So, all it requires is just to be nice and patient. He'll get around to you eventually. There are nice mods around there.

And just to state the obvious. Don't PM them. Anyone would be annoyed if they get 20+ PMs at the same time. It doesn't help you get your account reactivated any faster.
