FST should do what it feels is right for FST, Topho's will also do what they feel is right that they should do, if there is no compromise middle ground then you both make that decision based on what you believe to be for the betterment of the site and its members.

When you put up a poll asking for validation of what you think you should do, you have started to lose the argument, I keep being informed that FST is NOT a democracy and you live by your own rules that you have implemented, well live by them rules and be judged by them, if the members don''t like them, they will & should leave, those that agree to them will remain and post.

Just close the friggin poll and do what you have to do.

As a loyal albeit short term member I hardly appreciate that and if granting this small courtesy does anything to lessen that perception I say we should all swallow our collect pride and acquiesce to Tophos wishes.

I'm all for diplomacy but this has little to do with pride and more to do with site policy.
The way I see it, it simply isn't FST's duty to keep torrent sites "safe" and happy because this is a forum to discuss all things filesharing related,(bittorent is only a section of FST,lot of ppl forget that,I mean this is a massive board), and Skizo has reiterated this many times, yet somehow torrent site owners somehow feel they're entitled to certain benefits/privileges.
They need to remind themselves from time to time that this is NOT their site, and they're guests just like you and me.

Now,let's assume for a second that FST succumbs to the pressure of torrentsites and they don't post a review. Later on,site owners might demand that the invite sections be scrapped off because it's against their rules. This would inturn affect the traffic generated for FST. So where do you draw the line?
Btw,the tainted impression that most torrent sites have about FST isn't gonna improve, trust me the damage has already been done.

Lastly the most noticeable aspect that's come out of this mess is that not many members give a shit about FST which is pity . Idoleyes,I know you do care abt FST but not many others do which is disappointing, members here need to start thinking about FST's interests too and not just torrent sites but I'm not too optimistic about this change. Well,let's just hope for the best.

I considered I lot of those points before I posted soulreaper and I can't say I totally disagree with any of them.Just given two paths I always try to take the high road.

Well, then do it. But dont come back complaining that you get banned from TH or something like that.
FST isnt their site, but TH it is.
As Jimmy Hendrix said it before. If you post some screenshot from TH, do the same thing with all those top secret sites. And post their url too.
Im member of some high level tracker and Im a member of FST. I'll respect both wishes. Talk on FST as long as I dont break any rule of any site.
That means never post the url, post some screenshot with the full name and all that the site doesnt want that I do. That are their rules and I'll stick to them.
