Every warez site i visit must have a soft by FOSI ,who the hell is FOSI?

He is a (Rusian) guy that cracks a lot of software and releases that.

He has his own website too. (just search for FOSI)

The FOSI site has been up for a long time AFAIK ~4-5 years

He uses "safe URL" for redirects from the main page to each software site. if you have a stealthed browser, you'll have to drop your firewall enough to allow network/host identification before the redirect will succeed. He has three main sites that I know of now.
Pirates cove keeps a semi up to date list. Look for it by typing " kick me to fosi " in google and go to the Pirates Cove website.
There's 4 sites listed for fosi but the first is dead.
they all appear identical but there will be minor changes between them and maybe different builds for his apps.
Fosi claims he hasn't "cracked" since at least '98, doesn't need to, doesn't see what he does as cracking, just repacking.

Adviceon`t download shareware from lame warez pages.
Get them from official program homepage or from a registered
distributor like http://www.tucows.com,http://www.download.com,
http://www.shareware.com and so on. Then... It`s easy to find the
crack or s/n for a proggy or simply crack this piece of shit yourself =o]

A: I'm not in any deal with them and never will.
I highly against their business (selling software on CDs).
I don't know why they use the "F.O.S.I." name,

them and only ~1 or 2 out of 10000 have problems like CRC error.

- Which program did the anti virus program find the virus in?
- What is the name of the virus found?

But, I`m sure, he can`t even answer the first question.
Anyway, I suggest you check all programs for viruses
that you download from any warez pages.

Blackice is not mine, it written by networkice programmers.
So, the answer is No, unless their software infected itself,
because "mine" blackice is the same as networkice selling.
If you`re not sure, I can only advice to remove it from your hard
drive or buy it (like any other program you downloaded for
testing from here) and compare installed files.

He rips software, but the only one of his rips that I download is WS_FTP Pro by Ipswitch; his website does not work for me too, so I wouldn't disable my web browser, for no warez site , but his rips are prefixed by "fo-" and then by the product e.g. fo-wsf8.exe, searching for this in Google will usually come up with a few personal websites, hosting it via DDL. Or, alternatively, use eDonkey2000.

I have been supporting/using the FOSI (Short for Federation Of Soviet Independent Crackers) Aks FOSI. The best way to locate any mirrors/forwards is to always search for "FOSI APPZ" . He does still support this site and started it when he was just in High School. I started using it in late 1997, so look how long he has been around. I think he is a software engineer now and basicly he takes new software and cracks all the Registration crap out of it and in return the companies allow him to release what he cracks but they have ways to see what people are using... Not a big deal. *I remember when he put up Paint Shop Pro 5 way back when* which started me in my graphics career. I was at the time a Chat Host for what was then Excite.com's chat portal "Virtual Places", and EVERYONE would create Avatars to represent themselves in this chat. Most people would use either Big Buff Muscle guys or some fine ass chick which of course meant everyone who used it was probably 250 lb ugly people, but it was fun.
