Thread: what am i doing wrong here ??

    just want to double check here

    in the connection,listening section

    enable upnp port mapping
    enable nat-pmp port mapping You only need to enable pot mapping if you are using a router.So check if you are uncheck if you aren't.
    randomize port each start uncheck
    add windows firewall exception check

    in the bittorrent,basic bittorrent features section

    enable dht network uncheck
    enable dht for new torrent uncheck
    enable local peer discovery uncheck
    ask tracker for scrape information check
    enable peer exchange uncheck but doesn't matter
    limit local peer bandwith not applicable if peer exchange unchecked


    OK straight from the Utorrent geniuses.

    Enable it if you have a router,otherwise leave it unchecked.

    If you don't have a router and check it,it probably won't make a difference, but Ive read that in rare cases people have run into problems.
    Unsurprisingly with Vista.
