    Hey .. any news about a good blue ray writer ?

    I've heard about the LG GGW-H20L .. 6x BD-R .. but now they are talking about a Sanyo with speeds up to 12X ..

    I use the LG GGWH20L and its pretty good i think it was one of the earlier blu ray writers

    But its very realiable

    yeah .. seems so .. its also quite well rated in all reviews ..

    Sounds good but the media isn't up to that speed yet. AFAIK it's only up to 8x now so what would be the point? You might as well wait until the media catches up and then the prices/kinks will be worked out way better

    personally unless you d/l HD movies I'd say wait it out until the speeds increase and the price drops

    currently have a Blu-Ray LG GBW-H10NBi I'm quite pleased with how to work

    Well I DL tons of HD movies even full BR disks when i can. I just play them directly from my HTPC over an HDMI cable on the HDTV so I don't really have the need for the burner or the disks myself, and none of my friends really have a BR player yet either.
