I have a friend whos on Win98, and he used a prog to create an ISO.
To his surprise, he found some Extra CD drives creating on his system.
Take a look:
Those F and G stations are the fake ones.
He tried to use Partition Magic in case it was a splitup, but that no work. Help!

daemon tools and alcohol 120% will create their own 'drives'

I suggest you tell us what program for starters. They look like virtual cd-rom drives much like the kind created by daemon-tools,alcohol,even nero does it now. Read: they "are" virtual drives that "act" like real drives
that's why you see the icon and the option to "eject disk"!!!!!!
try to mount a cue/bin image with one of the drives and then double click as if it were a real drive, if you see something OTHER than the original bin/cue its ok, no need to worry just learn about virtual drives

He says he used Soft Iso which then installed Demon Tools and Ultra Iso.
I dont mean to be rude, but I need solutions to remove, not an explanation... Can the next person replyin please tell me
a ) is there are a way to remove them
b ) if so, how?

they are not there for real man they are virtual dirves, open daemon tools and in the system tray right click go to the virtual cd/dvd rom and choose disableand have him/you read the faq for daemon tools first and then use it
