3RA1N1AC: I&#39;ve seen the demo movie too, and I saw alot of cool new things never done before. It&#39;s the little things, like how much interaction is possible with the environment. I never said anything about innovative gameplay. I said "It will change the way we LOOK at games". It&#39;s purely asthetic. You&#39;re right about actual gameplay. There isn&#39;t much room for innovation in that aspect of FPS, even though it&#39;s possible. Take Gran Turismo for example. Just when you start getting bored with the racing car genre. Every single game is the same. Until Gran Turismo came along and chaged the way we looked at driving simulations.

But about HL2. Not only does it have much better graphics, but we all know it has better gameplay. You ask 100 people what&#39;s the best FPS of all time, you will get more "Half-Life&#39;s" then you will "Unreal Tournaments".

It will change the way people play, because there is no other game that interacts so much with the player as HAlf Life 2, just look at the videos, and you will see what i mean....

I&#39;m with the person who said Half-Life is nothing w/o the mods. When I played it I was no more impressed than the next FPS. HL2 does look good but hell most folks are wetting themselves over screenshots. CALM THE FUCK DOWN. Shit I love Halo but damn I also like MOHAA.
