when ever i open a new window it opens only showing the top titile bar and i hae to maxamize the window everytime how do i fix this . i am using windows me

when it opens again with only the top title bar showing, move the mouse around the bottom of the window and if you see the "vertical resize" mouse pointer, drag it down till you are satisfied with the window size then close the window. open it again to see if it works.
