Is it worth getting Norton Antivirus 2004? I dont want to screw up my Virus protection if they suddenly start preventing users from Installing any norton product.. ah, i prob just stick to 2003.

I mean when i went from 2002 to 2003.. only thing new was the 1 button check, interface, and few other things. (system works)

I've noticed that Symantec have improved virus-scanning; you can now pause! Live Update has been improved and the GUI has been given a bit of a boost. After much hassle I finally manged to install it, the problem was that my copy wasn't quite full, it was about 34MB and it didn't even ask me for a CD key. So I downloaded the version Ike suggested, after of course deleting all Symantec keys that were suggested here and then removing all Symantec installation directories and presto!, it worked prefectly. My advice, do a clean removal of all Symantec products before installing it, but not once did I have to re-install Windows XP.
