Not at all, these are just examples albeit to you and others it may seem I just chose fast shredders, fast != good and I know that. These are examples to check out the artists themselves and I just took whatever came up on youtube when I typed in there name w/o looking. Prime example, follow the link:

And just b/c they play fast most of the time doesn't mean they don't put feeling behind it, Oziel Zinho is a prime example of that, he's fast and has a ton of emotion behind his playing w/ excellent phrasing and dynamics.
Only reason I was miffed is b/c everyone keeps posting "slash, hendrix, etc etc", yes they're good but for gods sake move on, there are way better players out there than those guys. Yes they were pioneers but its time to start recognizing better players and giving credit where its due.
