seedbox ERROR

i got this error in my box
when i try to dl file from a tracker


hostname not found

but when i try to dl the same file using my computer

i got no problem


any help ?

check https/ssl options in your tracker profile, if they r ticked, thats the main reason it aint working.

how can i get permission as Administrator to HOSTS to edit HOSTS file in the box ?

are you logged in under root? or are you trying to edit the file from a user account?

Sounds like u r using a shared seedbox and u only got webui? cuz if u have the root axx, then u can add the DNS by urself w/t bother anyone.

i got VNC too beside webui

watch ur VNC viewer, it should display the ID u use for login, is it root or a user?
If u got root password to login the VNC, ofc u can use the root to edit file via terminal.
