Help building my PC

hi

I need to buy a new PC

it's for extreme use ( games and movies , might for design )


I will use windows OS

I need advises for main part like :

Mainboard

Ram ( hope ddr3 is available with reasonable price )

Graphic card ( aim to get Radeon HD 4870 or nVedia GTX 280 )

Processor ( do i need Intel extreme CPU for my extreme games )



my budget is about 600 euro .

well for a start fella, getting hold of some DDR3 ram for a 'reasonable' price is going to be hard. It's still relatively new and there for sadly still expensive. Plus using DDR2 ram will also give you much more room with your budget
For you mobo, do you know what type of CPU you wanna go with? You dont need an intel extreme to run games lol, i think alot of people would be out of money if that was the case.
For design wise again you don't need to go as high as a 4850 or GTX 280, well according to my knowledge you dont.
What i think would be best fella is to creat a list from an online shop and show us what you think would best and we can give you opinion. That way you can price up from the online shops in your area

first i didn't mention that my brother will buy the pc for me from France , that's why i came here to ask for help .

ok then , is Quad CPU is necessary for games ( Hardcore player ) .

and it's ok with ddr2 .

i need some offers for a whole PC to be computable together , cause i don't have a wide knowledge about PC world .

so u can give an offer for a whole PC and other can discuss ur offer to get the best one for the best price .

the main thing is i need the new PC to serve for a long time , so i can increase the price if it's necessary .

ok then, what are you specs of your current pc.
For example say you have a dual core 2.6 and you went and bought a quad core 1.8. The dual core is going to be better cos the graphics card will use the speed over the number of cores.
DDR2 is perfectly fine

I was gonna say use DDR2 as DDR3 isnt really need as of yet espically at a budget

Have a look at nVidia 8800 cards i use a GTX OC2 and dan i think ur happy with ur GT aint ya?

CPU hhhhmmmmmmmmmmmm Q6660 (Quad Core) or maybe a E6750 (Dual Core) depending on budget as not much price differences

Not sure about a mobo not up to stratch

yerr im perfectly happy with 8800GT, does everything i want it to, i use it for games like UT3 and Crysis also use it for analysing wave signals for music.
